Mundelein Seminary Launches Fit Shepherds Chapter

In September 2021, University of Saint Mary of the Lake / Mundelein Seminary launched the latest chapter of Fit Shepherds. Dioceses from around the United States send seminarians to Mundelein Seminary as they prepare for the priesthood.   The men participate in Fit Shepherds as a way of bringing themselves closer to each other and to Christ.  The chapter was established by Alex Lorang as a way to offer the seminarians a good foundation to start new chapters upon their ordination and installation into their assigned parishes.  Men from other local chapters periodically join the Mundelein Fit Shepherds, providing an opportunity for fellowship and fraternity between the seminarians and men of the other groups, as well as for mutual sharing and understanding of their respective vocations.
